Beautiful, four stanzas

You are so
wild
And yet so
delicately beautiful
Maybe it’s the sadness
So
beautiful, beautiful, beautiful,
As if the word found its meaning in you
So desperately, hopelessly, beautiful
A cracked, raw kind of beautiful,
All over the place

And I just want to
Sit next to you and
Get closer,
And
Carefully feel the side of your lips with my thumb
And
Brush a strand of hair behind your

ear
And stare at you,
At your way of being so delicate yet raw,
As if I could hurt you by touching one of your atoms
-I don’t want to hurt you

Stare at you,
Then
Softly
Kiss you,
Gently,
Yet
Passionately,
Like I’d kiss the night sky.
